How to get started

OK...you've made the decision to start getting rid of some of the clutter you have accumulated over the years. But how do you get started?

When a charity calls saying they will be in your neighbourhood to do a pick-up and ask if you have anything to donate, say "yes". This way you have made a commitment to have a bag or two ready for them. They will give you a date and time. Mark this on your calendar. This could be the start you have been waiting for. Not only have you made a start on your clutter, you are also helping out a charity.

Harold Taylor Award

Just got back from Professional Organizers in Canada Conference. This year it was held in Toronto, ON. Next year is Calgary, AB. It was a great conference. Lots of learning, lots of laughs. My highlight was receiving the Harold Taylor Award for outstanding contribution to the organizing profession and Professional Organizers in Canada. I am still riding on a high from receiving this honour.
